Google Flow watermark: size and position
The Google Flow watermark is a white, semi-transparent four-pointed diamond in the bottom-right corner. Its width is the short side of the video divided by 15: 72 px at 1080p and 48 px at 720p. In downloads from November 2026 it sits twice its own width from the right and bottom edges (earlier downloads: one and a half times), and it is about one third opaque at its centre.

Measured on original MP4 downloads from Google Flow, by fitting the diamond shape to each frame. Clips generated and downloaded on 3 November 2026 (720p original, 1080p upscale, landscape and portrait) all use the wider gap; clips shared earlier use the narrower one. The tool on this site checks both positions and cleans whichever one the file has.
How the mark is applied
Every frame is blended with the same white diamond at the same strength: shown = mark × opacity + original × (1 − opacity). Because the opacity of each pixel is fixed, the original value can be calculated back, which is how the remover on this site restores the corner without blurring it. The examples page shows it on moving video at each size.
Visible mark versus SynthID
- Visible diamond: in the pixels, can be switched off for new videos in Flow settings, can be reversed on existing clips.
- SynthID: invisible, spread through the whole video, stays whatever the setting, not removed by this tool.
- C2PA Content Credentials: metadata attached to the file by Google.
